yep great song. it is talking about this guy. he knows this girl and continues coming back to her as a friend. he does not realize/ will not accept that she is the one for him. he continues looking and starts comparing the girl he already knows to other girls. everyone else "the crowd" in the song sees the problem and tells him that he should just give in and stop trying to fight his feelings for the girl. he does not and in the end she is gone (the last line of the last chorus changes and says "you lost her to another".
