It doesn't take much to keep a consistent flow and to think of thought provoking lyrics. They don't even play instruments. You don't need talent to use computers to generate an instrumental. ANYBODY can do that. Musically, it may be one of the most diverse genres, but it still sounds all the same to me. Seriously, rap sucks. I don't see why anyone would like it...

That's only in the mainstream, dude. In the 80's-90's, rap was cool because the emceez actually had poetic talent and they all stood for something. Now, it's just who people dance 2. I can't stand it, and it was actually started as a culture, not as a musical art in the first place, so don't diss something you don't understand.

Some time ago I was told that the music I was listing to was just a bunch of noise, I said no you are wrong this is good stuff. That was 40 years ago and I know my father who said that was wrong. The Beatles really were very good. When My mother was young she was told by her mother, that the music she liked was just a bunch of crap. well I guess that Frank Sinatra turned out ok after all.

When my kids were growing up I told them if you like the music listen to it, who am I to say that there music is crap. You don't to like it, buy that does not make it bad. I don't like Country music, I don't listen to it. But just because I don't like it does not make it bad.

I as sorry to be the one to tell you this but you sound just like my father and grandmother, both of them were very closed minded people.

I agree! It is so basic and uninventive that anybody can do it. And it is not even pleasent to listen to! There is no melody, no mood, no poetic sense about it. Even alot of the beats are not in any type of even rythym. Rap is crap!
