I use to sing Lady Marmalade because of it's catchy rhythm. I didn't know all the words and don't know French. Until someone told me, I didn't realize the song is about a woman being suggestive to a man on the street.

Yep. Sometimes I would sing a song without really knowing the words. I would just kind of make up some word because I thought that is what the song said! : )
