Ok iv just bought an electric piano...guess you could call i keyboard, and i don!
Question: ok well the other day i bought a casio CT-420 ...ahh i cant really read music....i dont know any songs.....i dont know much at all bout how to play lol, but i really want to learn and become good at it...its so hard to play with both hands at the same time!!! lol..............................so can u help with anything?? explain how to read music....or tell me a site or book or something that can?? or any tips/help with playing?? thanks

Best suggestion... take some music lessons. I have the same issue really. I have a keyboard. Paid more for that thing than I did my truck! And I have never read a note of music. I play by ear. Just picking it out, over and over till I figure it out. There are some music books that don't have just notes, but have the key. You make a template of your keyboard that shows you what key is what note. Or use a dry erase marker to put middle C on your key, and other keys too. Then use the music book with the keys instead of notes to play. Its very slow at first, but learning to play music is like learning a new language.
Actually, music IS a language... just have to practice.
Get recommendations from friends and family, and find a good teacher. Lessons for a year or two can work wonders.
