and it showed exactly on how his life before he got into the rap game and what it took to get him to where he's at now, get rich was alright but the ending was stupid and corny.

I would have to go with 8 Mile even though I like GRODT because I found it more interesting

I'm a huge fan of both artist and both films. 8 Mile was better at examining just rapping and coming up, trying to battle opponents. It focused on that. BUT 50's Get Rich film was examining more of a street kid hustling selling trying to get into the rap game. They both were poor but lived different lifestyles. Em's movie was more family personal and rap, while 50's was more of street violence, protecting his gf and child, proving a point to the street and coming up on his own. Bot hwere great films, but since both were examining different points in the rap game I don't think one can compare.
