This is my life." and I feel like saying"Who cares" This is a hobby, not a lifestyle UNLESS you are gettin paid for it. people gettin pissed when someone disagrees wit em ova this. THATS STUPID!! You care more about it than tha artist. Some of the people on here have there priorities messed up.

Listen sweetheart. I am 27 years old and I make a decent living for myself and my son. I do live hip hop, but I am also doing my thang at the same time. Everything in life isn't about making a living and tryna eat, it's also about experiencing things that you enjoy and take interest in. For many it happens to be hip hop music and culture. I think you might got it twisted a bit, it's not the most important thing for someone like me, who's a hip hop head, but it's up there simply because we actually live the culture. It impacts us every single day in some way, shape, form or fashion.
so basically you're sayin we shouldn't deeply connect ourselves to anything like hip hop, sports, even politics if we're not makin money off of it? hip hop is a culture, therefore making it a lifestyle..someone dictating how people feel about a certain genre is stupid, its not stupid having a passion for it....but thats just my opinion
I feel like you jumpin to conclusions about people on here. I myself "live and breath hip hop". It's among the *STRONGEST* factors of my life for reasons you'll never understand because you don't know me in real life. All you see is what is posted on yahoo answers. And I think about hip hop everyday, but that doesn't mean my priorities are messed up. I'm going to college right now for mechanical engineering and have a job at a department store. I wanna drop all my classes and enroll in complete music classes *SO BAD* (cuz I truly wanna be a music producer) but I know I can't do that to myself. So try to remember that what you see us post on here is not the only thing going on in our lives.
