Who sings in a Country-Comedian way :MAIL ORDER DOG,HELP ME MAKE THROUGH THE YAR!

Question: I have this old tape I recorded from a radio program of a COUNTRY MUSIC kind of COMEDY Concert . I think it should be of the mid eigthies, considering the sounds.
It's very difficult for me to find out who these musicians were, expecially here in Italy.
The songs played are ( Among the ones I figured out...) ARKANSAS DOG, HELP ME MAKE THROUGH THE YARD ( Parody of Help me make it throug the night), MAIL ORDER DOG, THE BEARS AND THE BIRDS ( About a place polluted with nuclear radiations and where the bears and the birds are bigger than houses...) , GOSPEL FAMILY ( I guess... quot. < Papa sang bass, mama sang tenor, me and little brother sang bass and tenor....>
Thanks to whoever will help me out!!!!
Ciao from Sunny ITALY!!!!

Pinkard and Bowden sing "Help Me Make It Through The Yard"

I have to look the others to see if they are also sung by this team.

THese are others listed by them on rhapsody where you can listen to the songs in their entirety...
1. Mama She's Lazy

2. Daddy Sang Bass

3. Mama, She's Lazy

4. Propane (Parody Of "Cocaine")

5. Driving Others To Christ Through Barnyard...
"Help Me Make it Through the Yard" sounds like something that Cledus "T" Judd might do. He does parodies of real songs, such as "Please Take the Girl" (parody of "Don't Take the Girl", by Tim McGraw), "My Cellmate Thinks I'm Sexy" (parody of "She Thinks My Tractor's Sexy" by Kenny Chesney), and "Goodbye Squirrel" (parody of "Goodby Earl" by the Dixie Chicks). I have several CDs of his.
If not Cledus T. Judd, then try Pinkard and Bowden or Ben Colder (Sheb Wooley)
I know who yuou arfe talking about but I haven't found or remembered the name yet. I do know it's two guys and they have had late night TV ads for their music. Pinkard and someone else. Some other songs they have are: Elvis was a Narc, Mamas Don't Let Your Babies Grow Up to Be Cowboys, She Thinks I Steal Cars. I'll keep an eye out for you though. P.S. I'm jealous that i'm not also in Italy.
