That all depends on what you are looking for. If you want some classic tones, a marshall amp would do nicely. For some other classic tones, Fender classics, and older model vox's will work. For more flexibilty, the vox valvetronix (advt) models do quite nicely. For the pedals, an auto-wah would work for some sweet tones, and for strings, you're gonna need to try some different ones out, like ernie balls, dean markely. I suggest going in to shops to check out the amps and pedals, or try looking at Guitar World magazines.
