I love his music from the 80s!!! The Way You Make Me Feel, Billie Jean, Thriller, Man in the Mirror, and lets not forget what he did with the Jackson Five...

I wish things could have turned out different for him, but I'll always love his classics!

first off you don't have the power to kick anyone off for answering a question -- the most you can do is report them.

to answer your question:

MJ has been the basis for MANY artists that are popular today (Chris Brown, Beyonce, JT, Joss Stone etc). Whether you like it or not MJ has set an impossibly high bar musically and I have yet to hear any of today's pop songs come close to those of "Thriller," "Don't Stop till you get enough," or "Remember the Time." While some of today's artists make a good case for their talents, they still don't hold a candle (lyrically, live performances) and have not be able to capture a WORLDWIDE audience the way MJ once did in the 80s and 90s. Female artists today are often separated in two catergories: before Madonna and after Madonna. LOL. I think the same can apply for today's male artists vs. MJ.
