I love nirvana.
I play bass and ive done some of thier songs, its brilliant how much they vary from very simple bass lines from about a girl, to very fast and complex ones like lounge act and even heart shaped box.

I do. I'm from Seattle, I knew the band personally ( I worked for YEAH! Magazine) and I still like them enough to play their music at parties and in my friend's cars ( I don't drive)
Kurt Cobain's lyrics captured the angst of the late-80's early 90's teens and young adults. 'The band's do-it-yourself philosophy served as inspiration for several other PNW bands, like MXPX, Modest Mouse, Queens of the Stone Age, Death Cab for Cutie, and Sleater-Kinney.
I love Nirvana. They revolutionized music in the 90's. Kurt had a voice like no other. When he sang he could make you feel what he was feeling. It was amazing that the music performed came from a three person band. He was a true artist.

are you kidding? i love Nirvana.. that was one of the first bands that i ever heard when i really got into music at the age of 7, and ill be 23 next week, and still love Nirvana!!!..
i used to have almost all their albums. Nirvana is one of the most influential bands in rock music history!!

Sure Kurt is overrated as a guitarist, but he made songs for a generation of awkwardly angry people and began a whole new movement of music, and then of course there's a Post Grunge period which is still sort of straggling and trying to survive (i dont' think it will though especially with the Indie Movement so prevelant and hitting it's peak now that it's trendy and more about clothes rather than music.)
I do because their songs remind me of good times.

i haven't met a single person who does not like Nirvana.
they revolutionized alternative rock =]
i like nirvana but they're not my favorite....
