Answers: I was wondering what New York residents consider to be the greatest borough as far as hip hop goes. I prefer Queens but then again I'm from Cali so my opinion does not count cuz I aint ever lived there. So to all you NYC residents:

but on the real, Music wise, Queens has the best mc's.

I can name em all but I wont. I think Queens outnumbers all the other boros when it comes to quality mc's.

i dont reside in NY anymore, but when i was younger i stayed in the jamaica, queens area....i would guess that the popular pick from new yorkers would be Brooklyn

It all started in the Bronx but I say Brooklyn's been the best, you can't name any mc from Brooklyn that's wack, Queens had Mobb Deep and Nasty Nas but it also had 50 cent and Ja Rule

I live in Queens now, most boroughs in NYC are hip hop, but I more think either the Bronx (where it started) or Brooklyn is more "hip hop"? But hip hop is moving South (in my opinion), I do miss the Queens/Brooklyn rappers, now I listen to dancehall/reggae more than ever... not crazy about "crunk" hip hop?!

I was born and raised in Crown Heights, Brooklyn.I would have to say Brooklyn without a doubt, but the Bronx and Queens are right there with us.

I say BX because it's the birth of hip hop, and has alot of history behind it. BK and Queens is right behind it.
