Hahaha.... yes
The music (if you can call it that) is bad enough, but then you have their crazy fans running around screaming "Everyone who hates MCR should die" and "OMG Gerard Way is sooooo hot" and that builds alot of anger.
I really wouldn't hate them so much if their fans weren't talking about how glorious and perfect the band is.

I don't know man. I'm 26 and I personally dug the first album. The new one is kind of cheesy and rip off of a bunch of stuff, but they're a good band. They manage to capture a very energetic sound that is not too "Pro Tools"-- they achieve a great mix of raw power and passion, with melody and solid song writing. Their last album bit off Kiss and Queen a lot, but I dig the throw back. I think they updated it enough to make it pertinent to our time. The stupid marching uniforms and the peroxide choir boy look at retarded, but you can't discount their talent. Both of their records are solid and worth listening to.
Cat Stevens, on the other hand, is a person of questionable stability with little to offer but a few moralistic folk songs. Although he has brought considerable publicity to the No Fly list, for all of those who actually read a story if they see his name in it. All four of you.
