What happened to System Of A Down? When is their next album going to be released!
Question: They are on hiatus, and it will probably last for a couple of years. They have been doing System of a Down non-stop for the past 10 years.
Everybody is working on solo stuff. Serj is currently promoting his album Elect the Dead. Shavo is working on his side project, Achozen, and is expected to put out an album in '08. Daron is working on an album for Scars on Broadway, to be released in '08, he also has his own label. John has drummed for Serj and Daron's side projects, and is working on building an Internet-based comic-book company called 'Torpedocomics'.
They have made the point very clear in many interviews that they are NOT breaking up, but taking a long hiatus.
