What type of wah pedal did Jimi Hendrix use?!


Question: I'm buying a wah pedal and since I mostly want to play Voodoo Child, I was wondering what type of pedal Jimi Hendrix used.

It just so happens, I was recently in the market for a wah pedal. Mine was giving me probs and so I went looking. I purchased a Boss PW10-V.

About the Jimi Hendrix wah, It is believed he used both a Crybaby and a Vox Wah.

Jimi Hendrix is widely considered to have been a master of the wah pedal, and was one of its earliest users. He was believed to have used the Crybaby, but he more often used a Vox wah, on such recordings as "Voodoo Child (Slight Return)", in which he used the Vox Clyde McCoy model. Frank Zappa introduced Hendrix to the wah.
