Hiphop is going down to south side now. Is it just trend and young music?
Answers: I used to love hip hop, I'm sorry to say but now it seems like they'll give anyone a record deal! I'm young (23) and I don't wanna hear music about 'chicken noodle soup,' 'laffy taffy' or 'crank that superman?' I like music with lyrics, and you can dance to a lot of the old music, hip hop was hot in the '90s-'00s.
I hope it is a trend that passes over cuz lets be honest some artist don't deserve a deal. (I don't hate all south music though, a few ppl are alright...) Yes, I believe it is. Many people from the south are coming up. It didn't used to be like that southern hip hop, although it lacks lyrical content, i understand its popularity.
first of all the beats are dance-able, and typically the hooks are catchy
furthermore, this genre of hip hop is fun(southern), hip hop from th 90's more than not, was not fun. most of the music in the 90's was lyrically superior, the songs caused u to think.
