There's only one 'looser' here, and we all know who it is. probably U2 U2 have to been it the top 40 world's biggest selling ever,so U2 and what person doesnt know who Bono is.
But Thin Lizzy are much better There is no comparison. U2 are far better and have a lot more fame and wealth. Also, look at all the humanitarian activities U2 has done over the years. They've truly given themselves to better our world. They're fantastic! U2 obviously has more fame and money.

Name one U2 song that kicks @ss. Just one. Oh right, there aren't any. Are you kidding U2 is as they say richer than God. Well, as I though, most people like U2 better, but I think this is unfair, Thin Lizzy has better songs, and inspired probably just as many bands as U2. Why do you keep asking this question then if your so all up on U2? I'm sure Bono could kick Phil Lynott's a** considering Phil has been dead for over 20 years! Yeah, U2 have achieved more fame & made more money but I find their music to be mediocre & overrated....Thin Lizzy could rock in the day....I'm sure more people can remember the song "Boys are Back in Town" more than a lame U2 song!!! Anyone who says U2 is pop has obviously never heard "Sunday Bloody Sunday". Nothing pop about that.
And anyone who says Thin Lizzy has better riffs has clearly never listened to more than five U2 songs. well i like U2's previous albums. and U2 definitely has more fame and money, i remember reading somewhere that their jet is guarded by LOTS of guys. I've heard both bands many times and Thin lizzy is by far better than U2! They wrote better and the guitar players were far better than Edge's weak guitar playing! A few Grammies, you say? That's like winning a free turkey & anybody that is a real music lover, doesn't take the Grammy awards seriously
