Can someone give me the name of the band who wrote the song "take 5"??? It's an upbeat song and by an English "alternative" band from the early 1990s. They also wrote the song "so you wanna take a trip?" Aren't the called "Northpoint" or "north-something?" can someone help give me any info about this band. Thanks.

I'm not referring to "take five" by the Dave Brubeck Quartet. This was a modern rock band that sounded similar to "Ned's Atomic Dustbin" or even the "Housemartins" (like the song "five get overexcited")

I'm not referring to "take five" by the Dave Brubeck Quartet. This was a modern rock band that sounded similar to "Ned's Atomic Dustbin" or even the "Housemartins" (like the song "five get overexcited") For some reason, I recall that song; it goes something like "it'll blow you mind, going half the time....do you know it, I know it...gonna tell me what time it is, gonna guess what time it is take five"...and there's a catchy guitar riff after that.

Wasn't "so you want to take a trip" a "trippy" song??? Sorry, I know the song, but can't remember the band. Thought that was Dave Brubeck, but not sure.
