Thank you for those VERY impressive statistics, Cartman. If you want to be a singer you could start by taking lessons, as it takes more than just a toothbrush to make a good singer. Same goes for if you want to play an instrument.
If you want to be a solo artist, you should spend a lot of time writing songs. Write everyday if you can (not just songs, but poems, a journal, anything). Experiment with different styles and decide which is more comfortable for you. You can only get better with practice.
If you want to form your own band you should find people who are just as musically driven as you are. And who you can mesh well with creatively. That can be done by hanging out at the 'hip' spots in your neighborhood, myspace, going to shows, anywhere there are potential musicians.
You can also try joining an already formed band (if they're looking for a singer that is). That saves time from having to start from the ground up looking for musicians for your own band.
Keep practicing your music until you feel comfortable enough to perform in front of an audience. Try playing at an open-mic night at a local club or coffee shop. Of course myspace is always an option to show off your music. As far as being a 'rockstar' goes, that's just a matter of being in the right place at the right time. Be sure you want to play music for the right reasons, not just the fame part of it, people often see through that.

I'm a musician. sorry but no. half the marjor rock bands havebeen playing fora while until they make it big time The first step would be getting a band, of course.
Then write some quality music. Good lyrics and musicianship would be required.
Go about getting gigs anywhere, take advantage of the internet to advertise yourselves.
Don't expect success right away. If you're just in it for the money, stop.
