I just found an old copy of "Growers of Mushroom" by Leaf Hound..Anyone remember this band?

I still have a beautiful UK original pressing on the Decca label.
I also bought the CD reissue on Repertoire back in 94, and their more recent reissue in 05. Repertoire is by far the best CD reissue label around. They are a German label that specializes in reissuing lost classics such as Leafound, Andromeda, Ancient Grease, Killing Floor, Atomic Rooster etc.
But back to Leafouhound...their vocalist was none other than Peter French, who a couple years later sang for Atomic Rooster on that bands 'In Hearing of' album. He later joined Cactus replacing that bands vocalist Rusty Day.
Leafhound could rock with the best of best at that time including the bigger names like Led Zeppelin (overrated).
Freelance Fiend, Sawdust Caesar, and Stray are my favorite songs from the album.
Leafhound was revived recently by Peter French.
