If you were a Beatles fanatic would you be really upset?!

Question:

If you were a Beatles fanatic would you be really upset?

To hear and to choose between versions of "Girl" by Tiny Tim ..or "She Loves You" by Peter Sellers (in a 'Dr. Strangelove' voice, and produced by George Martin) ? To hear Tiny singing.."your mother shoulda raised ya right.."..or Peter singing .."..she loves You! Ja!.."!

Answers: I thought they were both hilarious, and I have both versions, as well as Peter Sellers' "Hard Day's Night", although I thought his "She Loves You" was funnier because of the ending!

I have no doubt that John and George (and to fair, the other two as well) would have loved these parodies. Irreverence was part of their whole DNA (Harrison was a huge supporter of The Rutles, after all, so he had no problems in mocking the band's legacy and John Lennon was an avid fan of "The Goon Show", featuring Peter Sellers). He had quite a few "Sellers-like" moments of his own on the Live At The BBC double album, in fact.

If anything, I'd like to see even more parodies of The Beatles.

And here's the whole Sellers Beatles collection, including "Help". The rude version of "She Loves You" is the Irish Lads one:

http://www.petersellers.org/sounds.html... anything not original to the Beatles sucks, I'm still not over the remake of yesterday by boys2men. But Peter Sellers makes me more upset Peter Sellers did 'A Hard Days Night' a la Laurence Olivier and it went top 10.
Tiny Tim? seriously weird guy (now deceased).
George Martin made a lot of novelty records before the Beatles etc with quite a lot of success. yes I wouldnt really care because the song would ever be as good as the original.
