Cecilio Saxophone?
I just bought a cecilio soprano saxophone and i just found out that it was a cheap chinese brand. I don't know what to do. I saved up for this saxophone. Does anybody have any advice?
Answers: Did you pay very much for it? Many times these horns are advertised as "Suggested Retail $700.00------but reduced to $299.99!!!!" If you only paid a few hundred, it may be worth trying it out, but chinese horns have a reputation for being easily damaged and not being properly in tune. If you bought it from an honest seller you should be able to return it if you don't like it, although if you bought it online (like Ebay) you may be stuck with it. Take it to a music teacher, or a musical instrument store, and ask. It might be at least good enough to learn on. Sometimes they come with very bad mouthpieces and buying a new one will help.
