...im scared my ribs are broken. I got elbowed by a scene kid in the mosh pit and now my it hurts when I breathe. It just started this evening even though I was in the pit yesterday and now I feel like I'm gonna pass out from the pain. Is going to the doctors a waste of time??
Answers: Your ribs arent broken, probably just bruised. You wouldve known that second when you got hit if they were broken, not later that night. Also, it is very painful to walk around with broken ribs, so if you can walk then your fine. Either way you should take it easy this weekend and have friends come over to your house instead of going out Go to the ER. It can only get worse if you ignore it. I'd go to the doctor, definitely if it's that painful. It might not be serious, but if it is broken, you want to get some medical attention.

I did not have any rib pains, though, since I stayed away from the mosh pit.
