Do you think the music business needs a jumpstart?
If you do, what do you think needs to happen?
Answers: yes I do believe the music business needs a jump start what needs to happen is for people to stop down loading music and start buying the CD and for the record labels to produce a CD that cant be down loaded and other musicians need to join me in reviving live music The music industry need s to stop promoting all this pop stuff and start promoting REAL music, music that can last and have a stable fan base. Music has to be be less about the money and kicking a good/catchy single out and be more about making a good album. Bands who are acually amazing are hitting it harder than alot of talentless bands just because they're not "marketable". Definitly!
I think the music industry needs to pay more attention to stuff that isn't just mainstream because most of the main stream stuff is sh!t. Also they need to actually start promoting bands with talent. Talent isn't a word you'll often hear when talking about current music, well the mainstream at least. Does it take talent to sing a rap song? No! Does it take talent to make any of the current popular pop or rock songs? No!
And everyone only ever cares about singles now it seems. Albums need to really improve because it seems a lot of the current albums have 1 or 2 singles and the rest of the songs make the sad attempt at a song released as a single look good.
