Hiya all you elvis fans out there! What is your favorite elvis song and why?
Answers: I love em all, but I think he was his best in the 70's with tunes like You've Lost That Loving Feeling, I"ve Lost You and How the Web Was Woven I don't have a specific favorite but I especially like the songs he recorded with Sun Studios. He sounds young and fresh and the songs don't suffer from the overproduction that became more prevalent with his later releases. In The Ghetto, Elvis sang about something that; the world has come to. Maybe it's just me.... Polk Salad Annie, written by Tony Joe White. Jason and the Scorchers did a really good cover of it , too. Viva Las Vegas would be a close second.
