It used to be fun, good, and sometimes really deep. Nowadays its all about how many girls they've banged and self image.

with good lyrics but,
when you have a song that has stupid lyrics,and a
good beat it seems like people will just roll with it.

music we listen to..... Corny A$S A&R's, they want to make a hit and something that will make them money, not something that's creative or deep,plus people illegally downloding music all the time. When people illegally download hip-hop artists music, they can't eat, so they figure why bust my A$S on something I won't even be able to pay my bills with. Not all of it has... It is artists like 'Hurricane Chris' and 'Souja Boy' making it that way... all the newbies... nobody is 'Real' anymore if you catch my drift. His name is Common! He is hip-hop. Listen to him and you'll understand. Because they copy each other...It's easy to go with an ideea that some had back in the80's and exploded in the early 90's ...They suck @ss because it's the same cliche , with no message , easy to make , does not require any imagination , just a "phat" beat and some guys that sound the same even if they're in different bands...It's like the hair metal of the 90's ...I must say that I regret the fact that gangsta sh!t took over the Public Ennemy style..Let's hope there will be a somekind of revolution that will bring the artists back to what was all about , the rap scene needs De La Soul Influences, A Tribe Called Quest , Public Ennemy , etc. Otherwise this music will keep degenerating ...It is already on a downward spiral , It will go down, you're not the only one who used to like this kind of music, now it's just making me sick...They've becomed part of the system that they hated so much , they became retarded and maniupulated by MTV CUZ PEOPLE HAVE NO LIFE
