I need new bands to listen to.?
I am currently into stuff like Metallica, Iron Maiden and bands like them. But after hearing all of there albums many times over for a while (about 8-9 years now) they are really getting boring. Help?

If you haven't got it already get the Nativity in Black Albums, they are Black Sabbath covers, Supernault by 1000 H-omo (won't let me spell it right) DJ's is my favourite. The good thing about these albums is that you will get a wide range of styles by the cover bands and you may want to wade into there collections.

http://wm05.allmusic.com/ the Smashing Pumpkins are really cool, and Kittie rocks too. Try 'Deep Purple' and 'Whitesnake'. Good songwriters, and every song is catchy. They are my favourite at the moment. Hope you like their stuff! Do what I do and check on myspace. I've found bands from all over the world, many who sing in english that have incredible talent. Check out the group "Brutal Methods", they don't have a lot of songs up, but they do have an impressive video edited with footage from "Saw" with one of their songs.
Also try www.pandora.com Register and input Metallica as your first station and it will start playing groups that are somewhat similar in style and your "station" can be modified from there. It's a great way to find out about other artists!
