PINK FLOYD - Can you help me figure out what this song is called?!

Question:

PINK FLOYD - Can you help me figure out what this song is called?

At work I hear the song all the time, but can't figure out what the song is called. Yesterday I got a chunk of the begining lyrics: "I know you're out there, out there in hiding" my co-worker heard them say something like "lunatic fritz" near the chorus.
I hope there are some Pink Floyd fans out there who can help me out - I'd like to buy the CD but I can't do it unless I know which song it is.

Answers: Actually I don't believe it's a Pink Floyd song- it's Lunatic Fringe by Red Rider. Lyrics are something like this:

Lunatic fringe
I know you're out there
You're in hiding
And you hold your meetings
We can hear you coming
We know what you're after
We're wise to you this time
We won't let you kill the laughter The song is actually Red Rider's "Lunatic Fringe" Comfortably Numb.........maybe lunitic fringe is by red rider .not pink floyd hello...is there anybody in there? just nod if you can hear me. is there anybody home?

sounds like you're describing comfortably numb. it's a phenomenal tune. if you dig the vibe of that, just go out and buy the wall and dark side of the moon. those are two 'must have' records.

it MAY be you're just confusing it with red ryder, though.

i'd STILL go buy some floyd!

enjoy! Lunatic, from the album Dark side of the Moon. Or it might be Comfortably Numb. THAT is Lunatic Fringe ....and it's NOT by Pink Floyd! How Dare You!
