Anyone know where you can buy individual guitar strings instead of the whole set!

Question:

Anyone know where you can buy individual guitar strings instead of the whole set?

I tend to break just the G string from tuning in and out of open A all the time. It happens every couple of weeks and its driving me round the fricking bend.

The miserable gits in my local music shops only sell whole sets. Miserable gits is right, man. I have rarely experienced a decent music store/guitar shop that didn't sell single strings. I live in an area (west central Ohio - U.S.) that has maybe three music shops for a five to six county area, and all of them sell singles guitar strings. Find another shop, what can I say? While you're at it, have your nut and saddles checked for burrs or pinches. Could be that the string travel along a compromised path could be the culprit in breaking the G. yeah you can get them from your local music shop!
thats where i get mine from Music store or music equipment shop, here you can get them at FYE hi
now a days they dont sell it as an individual string.
they give it as whole set.
wen i went to buy the 3rd string i had to buy the whole set
it wont cost much. justbuy the whole set and keep the remaining strings in a safe place so that you can use it later
thanks

hey are you good in guitar playing
if you are i would like to just get in touch with you
becoz i want to imporve my guitar skill

hoep you wil reply
lins yes you can, although I just repace the whole set at once as I don't break them often. Sounds like you need to invest in a better quality make or look at your tuning technique as they shouldn't be reaking that often under normal use. I really don't know because actually I wear G strings and haven't had a broken one yet ! I remember one time I had it on sideways LOL Any good music shop should sell individual strings. My daughter has her music lessons at a Yamaha Music School shop and I'm sure they sell individual strings.
Have you also checked Ebay? Try asking a local music store if they sell individual strings, then ask for a third string. I've heard of people asking for a G string and getting the haw-haw-haw.
