How are you doing today? I wanted to know if there was anyone else who thinks rap is going downhill artists should be banned from making stupid *ss songs. like that damn soulja boy sh*t ?!?! OMG! I don't know why, but it just angers me that rap is so stupid now. Except for some artists, but I mean gosh. It's freakin horrible now. Agree? There should be a lot more artists making songs about things, like 50, and Kanye, and others.
Answers: RAP is not going downhill. MAINSTREAM RAP is SH*T however. Stop listening to the stuff that comes across the radio. Listen to the underground. Immortal Technique, Unknown Prophets, Cyne etc.
The only reason sh*t like soulja boy is on the radio is because major labels will buy mass amounts of their own records to make sales increase and the more they sell, the more likely they are to go on the radio and BET etc.

Well Rap hasnt gone downhill but it is not as good as before but there are still people making great rap songs
But I understand where he is coming from because it just isnt the same wow soulja boy is like one of the greatest songs right now and no rap is one of the most popular cat. in music and soulja boy is a party/dance song not rap and no 50 is old and noone really listens to him kanye got nothing new that a great hit and there are a lot of great rappers so no you wrong sorry to say bien y tu? :) yea verii true... and rap was never any thing good to begin with?? repeat that please peson who said it. pleasse. because that is not something u should be bittchhin about on a section where theres ppl who live and breathe hip hop [mainly underground. :) ]
anyways i dont know about these stupid songs now but all i know is that i can always spin a old skool track again and again. veryy aggravating i know but it just reallii goes 2 show what we kno.
