Can you give me great Jazz songs in my preference?!

Question:

Can you give me great Jazz songs in my preference?

I prefer Jazz songs like............

Mostly Smooth Jazz works for me. I like listening to high saxophones such as soprano or alto. I don't like hearing melodies of piano or string. I like some strings such as guitar for melody.

I like hearing a Jazz song that is a remake of famous songs (such as what Kenny G played "You're Beautiful" after James Blunt's hit). If it's not smooth jazz, I like it soft or a great pop/latin/rock/mambo/etc. tempo.

What songs do you think fits my preference?

By the way, I usually don't like trumpet melodies because they stick ou too much (just in my opinion).

Answers: I love contemporary jazz too. Some of my favorite artists are Grover Washington Jr. (Look up song "Can you stop the rain". He remade it in his last album "soul strut". Very nice..), Candy Dulfer (song "I can't make you love me", album "Sax-a-go-go (sp).) and Richard Elliot (Song "Sweet Dream". I'm not too sure which album, but all his works are great. very relaxing..) Jazz is so underrated, especially smooth jazz, and I know how difficult it can be to look for songs in that genre. Good luck to you. "Save Room" by John Legend. Pianos are only in the bg. Try the following artist:
- Grover Washington Jr.
- Najee
- George Howard
- Richard Elliot
- Kirk Whalum
- Dave Koz
- Ronnie Laws im sorry dude but i cant agree with you on kenny g the man doesnt really know jazz he has commercialezed it and nothing else but i suggest some miles davis if you want something chill
