'80s jazz/soul singer "Sade"?
I always thought she was beautiful, and I still have several of her songs on my iPod.
What ever happened to her? Is she still recording and if so, what is the name of her most current album?
Answers: the others answered the most current album part so i will answer the other parts
she married a Spanish filmmaker and they divorced and a bit later she had a daughter named Ila with a Caribbean guy (maybe a Rasta but not sure what his beliefs were)
she had a few run ins about the "ganja" if you know what I mean
and she gave an interview (not too long after the birth of her daughter) about having problems because she wasn't open with the press about her life (you know, a publicity hound)
i would say that she is raising her daughter and leading a quiet life Maybe she is a "smooth operator" somewhere. Lovers Live 2002.... I love her music as well... don't think she released anything after her last, "Lover's Rock" back in '01. I don't believe she has recorded lately

She is a great artist. Love her. Lover's Live and the studio album Lover's Rock. She's still out there - just keeps a real low profile. She's awesome!
