Anyone else think "God's Son" is Nas' most slept on album?!

Anyone else think "God's Son" is Nas' most slept on album?
When people talk about Nas, of course Illmatic will come up, and then probably It Was Written or Stillmatic, but IMO God's Son is his second best album. Why? Because its a personal album, he opens up on this LP like he did on no other. Its like you're actually getting to know him on this album. Of course he had the more mainstream-acclaimed hits in: I can, Get Down, Made You Look, Heaven....but there were also alot of hidden gems, ie: Book of Rhymes, Dance, Revolutionary Warfare, Warrior Song, Last Real N*gga Alive..along w/ Thugz Mansion. To this day, this album gets more replay value from me than any of his other CD's, to me it's just as much a classic as Stillmatic
am i alone on this? if you got another album by him you think is slept on name it and state why..all opinions welcome *except for section bashers on patrol
Answers: I'll just say this: I couldn't agree with you more. Like u said, everyone knows Illmatic and It Was Written, but God's Son was probably the first album where I really got a feel for Naz as a person---as in Nasir Jones the man, not the "political activist", not "the angry black man", but who he is outside of just the revolutionary. I think you are completely right. God's Son is slept on a lot. Yeah I think it was just as better as a classic as Stillmatic too. It was personal too. Book of Rhymes is a sick song also Revolutionary Warfare is a beautiful song. After Illmatic I think either Lost Tapes or Stillmatic is 2nd best. Lost Tapes was also personal too though a little. God's Son is like Nas' 3rd or 4th best in my opinion. God's Son is like on of the top albums of the decade though. actually Nastradamus was slept on also. ppl hated on that album too.

2 me I Am is more classic too me. personal reasons.at the time that album got me through alot of bs.
anyways no bashing here. nothing but love and respect. yea i agree witchu man but 4 answer above me...nastradamus was slept on??....that was a pretty dissapointin album.. i actually liked nastradamus. thats actually a dissapointing classic. but still classic.

Nas is just amazing in anything he does.
spent good money on every album. even nastradamus. Yep Gods Son is slept on a lot. I honestly listened to this cd every day in high school, so I think it is great. Yeah it is probably tied with Stillmatic in my opinion for 2nd best Nas album.
