Answers: There was rumor floating around that Jay would take himself, Beyonce, the Roc, NaS and some other heavy hitters from DefJam and start up hi own label. But those were strictly rumors. I havent heard that. But I truely doubt that Jay would leave the label he built to help out some one else if anything its going to be a sister company off of Rocka-fella. There are talks that Jay Z is going to Columbia Records because of a better deal and he doesnt like the fact that Def Jam brought J Depree to the label to manage the urban artist... so they said that maybe by the end of this year Jay Z will go to Columbia because RIck Rubin is in charge over there and he really likes Jay and wants to recruit him. Jay has always wanted to manage Beyonce so there is good motive for him to go to Columbia Records. He might as well just start his own big real label. with all the money he has i would definately do it!
