krs one also Yeah I agree they could of had a better panel. Was it just me or did Chuck D not say much. I would definetely keep him in there. He is so outspoken and intelligent. Prof. Mike Dyson I would keep he made some really good points, Ice-T, Nas, KRS-One (he was probably noth there because of the death of his stepson last month or so. Im sure they scheduled this ahead of time), Eminem, Dre, Ice Cube, LL Cool J, Mos Def, Pharoahe Monch, Talib Kweli, Kanye
Just some I can think of right now. I would've kept eveyone who was on the current panel. But this is who I would've added.
1. A representative from a popular radio station to explain why they play certain types of musice more than others.
2. A representative from BET, MTV and VH1 to explain why they play more videos that talk about money, bling and getting women. And how come they never really play anything from more conscience rappers like Lupe, Nas, Mos Def and etc.
3. D'Mite the creator of "Read a Book" video. All they need is one rapper.....and maybe EVERY SINGLE MAJOR LABEL OWNER BECAUSE AGAIN, THEY DECIDE WHAT MUSIC IS PROMOTED AND/OR PUSHED......LET THEM ANSWER THE HARD QUESTIONS SINCE THEY ARE THE ONLY ONES WHO CAN CHANGE THINGS....if they wanted to... Just one pick- Common- very educated dude. well took my names.lol
