Where is SRV's Strat?
The one that's all worn down... was it destroyed in the crash? or is it at the hall of fame? Where the hell is that thing?
Answers: Yeah , his brother has it. I know this because a while back, a popular guitar magazine did a feature on it , and a few people from the mag met JIm (who brought the guitar with him) at a hotel room to inspect the guitar. They actually took it apart, and made measurements and diagrams and notations and all that junk , ran tests on all 3 pickups to measure the output, notated each scratch and ding. Kinda funny in a way - they're looking for answers in a piece of gear , .....when what really happened...came from Stevies hands. His brother Jimmy has custody of all of his brother's guitars, except for one that was donated to the Smithsonian. I am using it as a planter for my fall mums. It looks so neat-o.
