For EMO fans only!?!

Question:

For EMO fans only!?

Do any of you know how or where 'Death Cab For Cutie' came up with their name? Or do you just think it's an unusual, but highly original cool sounding name?
I'm guessing few of you actually know, until you 'Wiki' it.

Joseph - This is a quiz type question. I know the answer, and I've been a fan of the great British band the name originates from for 40 years.
I was just curious to see what type of response I would get. Anyone with half a brain knows enough to do an internet search. I was looking for a response from people with less than half a brain, ie. EMO fans.
To be honest I hate EMO. I just think it's hilarious how so many people are brainwashed by MTV, and are unable to discover music on their own without it.

you say MTV brainwashes ppl to like "Emo", well your half right, MTV brainwashes ppl into liking that music, BUT I'm pretty sure whatever mtv is showing is NOT emo, but just mainstream silly willy rock pop, if you will. so yeah so why do they call it emo? well cuz it works, its the new trend, the new I'm "different". when it's really "we're all the ******* same" ugh I feel it does not sound cool at all! "Cutie" makes it sound kind of dumb in my humble opinion! Try listening to One true voice Okay, well i'm not an "emo" fan, but i'm nosy so i clicked anyway.

Here's your answer:
"Death Cab for Cutie is an American indie pop rock band formed in Bellingham, Washington in 1997. The band takes its name from a satirical song of the same name, performed by the Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band on their 1967 album Gorilla and in The Beatles experimental movie, Magical Mystery Tour."

RQ. why cant you just wiki it?
