Classical Music question?!

Question:

Classical Music question?

Ok, this is going to be the most vague question. I am trying to look for a piece of classical music. It is quite famous, and for some reason I attribute it to Beethoven (however I have absolutely no idea if it does indeed belong to him). It sounds very energetic, almost military in nature, like an army charging or something. There are huge symbals in it too that crash together every so often. I'm wondering if there is anyone out there that can tell me what this is???

Answers: This is a shot in the dark for me, but does it have like Cannon guns going off atend?
if so it sounds like the 1812 Overture by Tychoski The only thing that popped into my head as I was reading your question is a classical piece called "Military March" by Franz Schubert, Op. 51, No 1. This is energetic, it is played Allegro Vivace, and recordings of it would have cymbals. Hope this helps. Try In The Hall Of The Mountain KIng by Edward Greig maybe flight of the Valkyrie,,,,the song from a lot of war movies ,,like the movie where the helicopters are flying in and the c.o. says ,,,"i love the smell of napalm in the morning I'm pretty sure it's the "1812 Overture", of Tchaikovski... The best part is from the minute 3:19...

Or may be "The ride of the valkyries" of Richard Wagner...

. I agree that it is likely Tchaikovsky's "1812 Overture" but if that doesn't sound like it, you can also try Beethoven's "Wellington's Victory." do you think about Europe hymn? the 9th simphony of beethoven? ode of joy? mi mi fa so so fa mi re do do re mi mi re reeee It probably is the 1812
