no one at my school listens to him, and i think ian anderson may be the only man alive who could get me to listen to and enjoy the flute.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but there is no such person as Jethro Tull, as far as the band itself. It was simply the name of the band. I am sure you will now feel as disappointed as the day you learned there was no Santa Claus. They hit their apex back in 1971 with Aqualung and have had a spotty career since.
