Avril Lavigne's Girlfriend has been in the news for the worng reasons becos it sounded similiar to one of the song by The Rubinos. Any other similair controversy down the years? I think the most famous was My Sweet Loed and She's So Fine wasnt it? I have 3 songs that are similiar ...Led Zep's Black Dog, Nazareth's Changin Times and Kiss's Radar For Love..with Black Dog being the 1st.

A lot of popular music is this way. Most don't realize it due to narrow music choices and an uneducated, unaware ear. Chances are, if you're listening to most any pop song made in the last 20-30 years, you're hearing someone else's ideas, (chord progressions, lyrical refrences, melodic content, and rhythms), done earlier and likely better, by a more talented musician.
