What is ur favorite Smashing Pumpkins CD? The new CD is really really good but Mellon Collie And The Infinate Sadness will always be my personal favorite.

Mellon Collie and th Infinite Sadness. Some may argue for Siames Dream or Gish, but the sound diversity and pioneering sound of Mellon Collie is unmatched. 1979 was electronic, 33 had a soft piano melodic sound, Zero was rawkin, and thats only the singles that were released. This was a 2 cd album with gems such as Galapagos, Muzzle, Here is no Why, and By Starlight. If your really looking for what makes the Pumpkins great, this album is the answer and was the last to feature all 4 of the original members. Zeitgeist is still growing on me, but its probably their 4th best album to date.
