Who is better - Nerina Pallot or Regina Spektor?
I was having a debate with my friend and struggling to articulate what I feel is correct. If you could justify your answer, that'd be great.

There is no 'best.' Everyone has opinion of who is best. But in the end, it's who wins the awards--then they can say they are the best.
A better question to ask in situations like this is "who is your favorite and why?" If you ask who is the best, you are just going to get a bunch of worthless opinions.
