Serious Guitar Problem (no sound)?
Okay. I have this Electric Acoustic. I was playing it earlier today. Then I took the strings off to re-string them. ( I really dont know how string) I put on the low thick E string. When I tightened the thick E string I hit it, and there was no noise. No musical note. Just a dead noise. Whats wrong?

Dead pickup battery? Bad switch on the pickup assembly? Volume down all way on pickup? Bad termination on either end of the guitar cord? Amp turned on? Volume up? Look at these places/things first, and good luck with it!!!
Deeper...did you replace the same kind of strings you took off?? No nylon strings, silk and steel, etc??
