How do you copyright a band name?!

this is just for my future band that im going to setup in the future, so i need to save this name before someone takes it, thanks

Answers:

Go to bandname.com . Seems to work and it's fairly cheap. That or just get more famous than other bands with the same name, and then buy them out.
