How to use my talent...?

im a multi talented person who is good in lyric creating... dancing...acting...whistling..... also studying those & already have involved..can sing in hindi...tamil..English..& sinhalese...can perform well on the stage...so...what should i do..? als lookin 4 band 2 join with..pls help me..im a gal...19 yrs old..5..9" in hight...

Submitting to different contests and joining bands is a good idea. You should also make a demo or album while auditioning----this increases your chances of being discovered. Ludicrous submitted demos to everyone and they all shot him down. Finally, he said forget it and went and sold 10,000 copies of his own album by himself. After that almost every major record labels was at his door begging him to sign---the rest is history.

After you make an album you should make a webpage, get a myspace, facebook, etc., and promote yourself. Link all those pages together----this way managers, talent scouts, A&R, and fans can follow your easily. You can also make a little extra money by selling your music in the mean time as well. Exhaust as many avenues as possible because you never know which one is going to work.


You can make a demo or album relatively inexpensive now. You can buy beats made by quality producers. Check out

Also they're known by video game designers, independent filmmakers, and marketing firms. That will help build your credibility and increase more ways for you to be come discovered.

I'd recommend selling your product through CD baby (www.cdbaby.com) because its only $30 dollars and when you sign up with them, they automatically submit and sell your tracks on all the major digital download stores like itunes and so forth. They also set up your information and artists page with the digital download companies so you don't have to. You'll have to make your artist webpage with cdbaby (they give you one and again your will want to link this back to your webpage, myspace, and facebook).

Finally, perform where ever you can, have a press kit made ASAP, and pass out business cards. Make a business card and put your webpage on there www.yourname.com (not the myspace page or facebook---you won't need to because they will be linked to that page). Even if you’re tired and don't feel like talking to anybody you can still leave a business card laying around at Panera or Barnes & Noble ---somebody is bound to pick it up and look at it---even if they are just throwing it away.
