How do I get my band to move onto higher level and get noticed?
I have a band and we write our own songs, have all of the music put together, and a few singers. Now all I need to know is: How do we start to get 'noticed'?

Welcome to the music world.....Practice...Practice.... a never ending effort at first.Word of mouth is THE best way...play "out" as often as possible...playing out alot will help spread the "word of mouth"...that is if your band does'nt stink.word of mouth can be a double edged sword.Play ANYWHERE you can...weddings,parites..ect.Do what we did back in the day...."flyer the heck out of every thing you see"...cars...telephone poles,post office public bulletin boards,shopping centers..
Practice=band not sucking
band not sucking=good word of mouth
Playing Out EVERYWHERE=good exposure (may get someone at wedding who isn't inot bars ect) Good luck...when your band breaks I expect a "Thank you" in the liner notes....hehehe...Willing to help ANY band who writes their own stuff,and plays own instruments...Kudos to you!!
