Recommend me some bands?

I like classic rock, not that I don't listen to modern rock, but I just want to listen to classic rock right now.. My fav bands are Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Guns N Roses, The Who, Jimi Hendrix Exp, ACDC, a bit of Deep Purple, and a bit more.

If someone knows my taste in rock music, and you like the same bands, what other bands do you like that you think I will like as well?

Also, fans of Iron Maiden, can you recommend me some other metal/rock band that is very similar to them? Take out Metallica, Black Sabbath, and Judas Priest cause they're not like them.

I have exactly your same taste when it comes to music, and a few months ago, I discovered this 70s English Hard Rock band called "Budgie". Now they never made it like Zep or Judas Priest, but believe me, they do have some hidden treasures in their albums. They also used crazy names for their songs like "Nude Disintigrating Parachutist Woman", "Breadfan" and "Crash Course in Brain Surgery". You can find their CDs in Amazon, I don't know if they have them on iTunes though, checki it out... Happy listening.

As for your metal side (I also have one) I recommend you another hidden treasure from the late 70s called Diamond Head, also get some "Iced Earth" or "Stratovarius" , they are more recent bands, but really good, kind of like Iron Maiden on steroids... LOL.
