Poison is my favorite all time band. Motley is great too, and they came first. Bon Jovi is excellent stuff as well. Actually late 80's early 90's was probably one of the best times for rock. Warrant, Def Leppard, Guns n roses, Skid Row, Whitesnake, Firehouse, Cinderella...
And the frontmen back then could really sing too. Bon Jovi Warrant and Skid Row all had singers with incredible range.
