Does anyone else think that modern rock sucks?

i dont understand why people like these new gay bands and this "emo" crap. It's all bout the classics. Who agrees!?

Yeah music has definately sucked lately. I'm into "pop punk" music like Blink 182 and Green Day's stuff from the 90's. Music today is so much about money and big recording contracts that the bands make music that they think will be popular because thats what they're getting paid to do. Music is so much better when it's made because the people that are in the band enjoy that kind of music and love to play it. Music also sucks because bands get so carried away with new recording technology that it's hard to reproduce that same sound in a live setting. They have the ability do re-do vocals, guitar tracks, and all that other stuff in the studio, but when they play live, it just doesnt sound the same. I liked when old rock bands would try to get their live sound in the studio instead of these bands trying to get their studio sound live. I think it can only sound good one way.
