What's the racket heard at the intro of the Beatle's Revolution (album version)?
I'm a huge Beatle fan. But one thing I have never been able to identify in their music is the interference heard in the beginning of the White Album's version of Revolution. Can anyone identify the sound?

I'm referring to what almost sounds like a fork caught in a garbage disposal.

It's one of two things a fuzz box, or maybe the plugged straight into the mic input and cranked it to get that distorted sound.
