Ok I have no idea who sings it or what the name is, but all i remeber it is a rap song, its by a black artist i know for sure. well anyways the only part in the song i remember is a part where he talks about boxing on the street corner. i want to say the song is about his old friends or homies or whatever i just remember it was touching. anyways hook me up if you know this song. also i believe it came out in the 90's but not positive.

Yeah, I remember that. The song is called "boxing on the street corner, yo!" It came out in 1992 by Terence Turtle Henery or TTH as he was known, he was originally part of the MC Hammer crew. His career was cut short when a video surfaced which was believed to be homosexual acts involving himself, The Ultimate Warrior and a bag of green apples. Being homosexual in the state he lived in was no crime, but involving apples in sexual acts was. He was arrested and is currently serving his time in prison. The moral of this story is don't listen to rap music.
